Allium carinatum sub-species pulchellum... Firecracker allium... From slender chive like foliage, numerous flower spikes emerge in a 'firecracker' like explosion of flower and colour. A bulbous perennial that multiplies readily to make a good display after a few years. Naturalises in most sunny positions quite happily. Looks fantastic emerging from grasses and other low growing perennials. Hardy and drought tolerant. A fun pop-of-colour for the garden !
