Aster azureus, Sky Blue Aster, is an extremely drought tolerant perennial which will grow happily in almost any soil, from dry sand to moist loam. This showy plant is covered in masses of sky blue daisy-like flowers from mid Summer and throughout Autumn. Growing to around 60 to 70cm tall it is a magnet to bees and Butterflies when in bloom. This Aster is effective in binding soil effected by erosion due to its spreading habit. Plant in full sun to part shade. Available in 140mm pots.
