Gaura lindheimeri or butterfly plant is a really lovely, profuse flowering perennial that just keeps flowering. Its is extremely tough, drought tolerant and such a good ornamental plant that it associates well with so many other plants. It suits the modern prairie planting scheme beautifully as well as cottage gardens and coastal gardens; swaying gracefully in the breeze. Mature height around 1m tall.
