Pennisetum alopecuroides or Fountain grass, is a warm climate, fine leaved grass which blooms for up to ten months of the year. Bold clumps of mostly evergreen foliage grow to around 80cm tall. In the warmer months masses of purple tinted flower spikes cover the entire plant. The fine texture of the grass contrast well with fleshy leaves succulents. This grass will self-sow readily.
