Penstemon 'Huskers Red' is an attractive perennial with outstanding beetroot-red coloured foliage in Winter and Spring, becoming softer green heading into the warmer months. A very forgiving plant it grows easily in most situations and is happy in full sun to part shade. In Summer upright stems are covered in white to pale-pink bell shaped flowers which contrast with the foliage beautifully. Growing around 70cm tall and 45cm across it works well as a feature plant or incorporated into a naturalistic planting scheme. Drought tolerant and a good performer. Supplied in 140mm pots
