Saponaria ocymoides is an old world wildflower which makes a great ground cover for sunny to lightly shaded spots. Forming nice spreading low-growing mats of foliage, it is covered in masses of soft-pink blooms from early Spring through until Summer. Cascades over retaining walls and will weave around rocks and other garden plants.
