Scabiosa caucasica, the Caucasian pincushion flower, is a species of flowering plant native to the Caucasus, north eastern Turkey and northern Iran. A drought tolerant, clump forming perennial which flowers prolifically for up to 10 months of the year. The glossy evergreen foliage grows into a tidy rounded mound to 30cm high and 50cm wide.
