Veronicastrum virginicum Alba is an excellent, trouble free plant with strong, upright growth. The multiple tapering, soft spikes of white flowers look like living candelabras. It's great for adding impact in the garden towards the end of Summer and is an icon of the new prairie-style planting. The graceful white flower spires top dark bronze stems. Each stem is from 10 to 20cm in length. Individual flowers are tiny and bloom from the bottom of the spike to the top. They provide great vertical structure to the garden reaching up to 150cm tall. Position in full sun to part shade. Available in 10cm pots.
